ALKALIN MD is an alkaline powder with uniform and fine distribution of particles and slow solubility in acid solutions.

We advise to add ALKALIN MD to the bath after adding chrome (0.3-0.6% on pelt weight).

This product produces a gradual increase of the pH, without sharp variations, as happens with bicarbonates, soda or mix of other basis, and produces a perfect distribution of chrome throughout the leather. Consequently, the grain appears very fine.

Particle size is checked to eliminate the risk of abrasion and obtain a process that can always be reproduced.
