POLARFIX OP 178 is a ready-to-use water based topcoat especially developed to finish upholstery and leathergoods articles. It forms a medium hard and elastic film with good dullness. It confers to the leathers a soft and natural waxy feel.
Physical and mechanical fastnesses are excellent, especially the wet rub fastness, and they can be even improved by the addition of crosslinkers such as polyisocyanate or polyaziridine.
Leather finished with POLARFIX OP 178 can be dry milled for some hours.
