POLARFIX LX 500 is a water based varnish based on polyester and polyether polyurethanes. It forms a high glossy, transparent, bright film with an excellent levelness.
Articles made using POLARFIX LX 500 will be characterised by a very high degree of gloss and a pleasant dry and slippery touch, furthermore they can also be milled, if needed, to get fashionable effects.
POLARFIX LX 500 confers good physical-mechanical resistance properties to the leather.
The addition of crosslinking agents increases the resistances. It’s recommended to check their compatibility and to evaluate the effect on gloss degree.
POLARFIX LX 500 is applied by roller coating machine.
