POLARTHANE EXP is a water-based dispersion of special polymers especially studied to achieve “nubuck” type effects on finished leathers.
The product can be applied both by spray and by rollercoater machine, as supplied or diluted in water and it can be coloured with dyestuff and/or pigments.
To develop the effect, after the product application, proceed ironing at least at 110°C. POLARTHANE EXP can be also used as auxiliary agent into covering coats to improve the sealing effect: in this case also the results will be achieved after expansion of the products at 110°C.
