LINKER CL680 is a polyurea based cross-linking agent mainly used on base-coat and covering-coat for leather finishing, when high physical resistances are required.
The addition of LINKER CL680 especially enhances the dry and wet rub fastness properties and the finishing adhesions. Cross-linking made by LINKER CL680 occurs slowly and it requires some days to be completed.
The addition of this cross-linking agent don’t compromise the overspray of the basecoat mix, anyway we recommend proceeding with the covering-coat within 24-48 hours.
The recommended amount ranges from 1 to 5% calculated on the weight of the mix. The blend’s pot-life is approximately 5 – 6 days.
